I wanted to challenge not only my D&D group to a puzzle, but to challenge myself to build it! So here is the result!
This multi wheel, custom answer/key cryptex puzzle takes a lot of what we liked about the clicky 2 digit dials, and scaled it up to new levels. This puzzle is a big, chunky, monstrosity with the letters A-Z as well as 0-9 on each dial giving 36 possible settings (one click per face to make alignment easier). The wheel/cryptex diameter is just under 5 inches across. The wheel size stays the same for each variation, just the length/number of wheels changes.
The wheels are held in with a retainer piece that uses 3 hex head screws to keep it locked down. Simply loosen the screws, and all the wheels can be adjusted to the key that you want to use.
We have 3, 4, 5, and 6 wheel versions of the puzzle box available. And many customization options. The outer wheels, text on the wheel, inner keyway wheel, and both cylinder pieces can all be unique colors!

Wow! Even better than expected! Seller was easy to work with and enthusiastic to customize to my needs. Very large and well-made. I plan to use it for a geocache and there will be plenty of room and seems like it will stand up to lots of use. Very quick production and shipping. All around great experience and product!!

Awesome cryptex! Works perfect and looks so cool. Love that you can change the code!! Only note is that it’s way bigger than I expected (I don’t think I checked the dimensions before buying!)

Fantastic! It shipped quick and it feels very sturdy and well-made. It comes with instructions and the tool you’ll need to take it apart and reset it. The seller also shot a message when it was printing and expected to ship the next day, which was nice!

There was a misprint on one of the pieces during assembly. Seller contacted me immediately and let me know he would have to redo a piece. Cryptex showed up maybe 4 days after that and is better than I had hoped. The quality is top tier and the password is changeable. Great product, great customer service. Can’t recommend this seller and item enough.
